LEED is a national certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to encourage the construction of energy and resource-efficient buildings that are healthy to live in. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

From time to time our customers require us to provide a LEED statement for our products.

Rather than produce a wordy document, Interstyle provides a spreadsheet that explains the relevant information:

  1. Recycled content (Pre-consumer and post-consumer)
  2. VOC volatile organic compounds and how they relate to indoor air quality
  3. Long life or durability
  4. End-of-life recyclability
  5. Proximity of manufacturing location to LEED qualifying building (<500 miles)
